Recently, our enthusiastic team from Move To Valpo had the pleasure of joining forces with Home Team Valpo for their Spring event. Not only did we get the chance to make a difference in our community, but we also had an absolute blast transforming a yard into a stunning oasis.
Home Team Valpo is on a mission to improve the quality of life in Valparaiso by assisting qualifying homeowners with repairs and maintenance. Our collaboration with Home Team Valpo for the Spring event was like stepping into an episode of an enthusiastic DIY show. We were assigned a homeowner with a yard that needed some serious TLC. From the moment we arrived, we rolled up our sleeves, armed with gardening gloves, and embraced the challenge with unwavering enthusiasm.
In the midst of our volunteering frenzy, we were lucky to have Lori, the ultimate cheerleader, by our side. Her infectious positivity and warm heart made the experience even more enjoyable. Lori guided us through the project, ensuring we had the right tools and resources to tackle our tasks. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and we couldn’t help but feel like we were part of something truly special.
Together, we tackled the yard makeover, armed with weed pullers, mulch, and a rake. We plucked weeds like seasoned gardeners, laid fresh mulch with gusto, and transformed the yard from an unkempt jungle into a pristine oasis.
